Weight & Width

Identification of color shading, stains, weaving holes, and surface abnormalities using the international 4-point grading system standard.

Verification of cuttable width and precise measurement of GSM (grams per square meter) to ensure compliance with tech packs.

Color & Fastness
Skewing

Evaluation of batch-to-batch color consistency and fundamental fastness against washing, light, and perspiration.

Verification of bowing, skewing to avoid sizing distortions in finished garments.

How our fabric inspections work

Inquiry with PO & Specifications

Buyer shares PO, fabric type (woven/knitted, greige/finished), specifications, inspection requirements, and inspection address for inquiry or inspection booking.

Confirmation and Scheduling

DQC coordinates with the mill or warehouse within 24–48 hours, confirming roll/bolt quantities, sampling rate, and inspection date.

On-site Execution

On-site, DQC samples rolls/bolts according to 4-point system, checking defects, shade, skew/bow, shrinkage, GSM, and other key parameters.

Reporting and Mapping

DQC issues a clear, photo-based fabric inspection report with defect mapping and conclusions to support decisions (accept, discount, rework or replacement).
