01. Labels & Packaging
Verification of roll quantity accuracy, shipping marks, barcode integrity, and the protective quality of outer packaging.
02. Length, Width, & Weight
Verification of cuttable width and precise measurement of GSM (grams per square meter) to ensure compliance with tech packs.
03. Color Shading
Check side-center-side shading, end to end shading, and evaluation of batch-to-batch color consistency.
04. Hand Feel & Consistency
Comparison of softness, texture, and visual character against the client-approved Master Reference Sample.
05. Skewing
Verification of bowing, skewing to avoid sizing distortions in finished garments.
06. Visual Defects
Identification of color shading, stains, weaving holes, and surface abnormalities using the international 4-point grading system standard.

How Our Fabric Inspection Service Works

01. Request & Confirmation

Client: sends an inspection request with product details, asks for a quotation.

DQC: confirms the inspection service, sends a quotation.

Client: confirms the quotation, arranges the payment.

02. Planning & Preparation

DQC: A dedicated Project Coordinator is assigned after inspection confirmation.

DQC: will liaise with the factory to confirm the inspection schedule and readiness.

DQC: A qualified inspector, specifically matched to the product type, is briefed with all product specifications, approved samples, and quality documents.
03. On-site Inspection

DQC: Inspector arrives at the factory on the scheduled date.

DQC: Inspector randomly selects samples, perform a thorough check of packing & labeling, construction, color shading, hand feel, skew/bow, and visual defects.

DQC: All findings are meticulously documented with photos and notes.
04. Reporting

DQC: will complete the report after inspection. The report includes a clear summary (Pass/Fail status), detailed defect breakdown categorized by severity, statistical analysis against the 4-point system, and clear photographic evidence for all defective issues.
