We don’t just inspect — we apply the right level of quality control for each order.

Tailored Hybrid Inspection for Superior Quality Control.

Hybrid Inspection

A full inspection could reduce this risk, but is often not practical.

For example, inspecting 600 pieces of garments typically requires 2–3 man-days, significantly increasing cost and inspection time — which may not be feasible for many customers.

Why not just use full inspection?

Consider a small order consisting of 3 styles, with a total of 600 pieces (200 pieces per style).

Under standard AQL 2.5 sampling:

  • If the entire order is treated as one lot, up to 5 major defects may be accepted.

  • If each style is inspected separately, up to 2 major defects per style may be accepted.

This means a total of 5 or 6 pieces of major defect (e.g. holes) could still pass the inspection.

While this result may be statistically acceptable, it can easily lead to multiple customer complaints or returns once the products reach the market — which is unacceptable for brands that prioritize quality and reputation.

Standard sampling may be statistically acceptable — but not always commercially acceptable.

Real example:

Traditional sampling inspection methods such as MIL-STD-105E and ISO 2859 were originally developed during the era of large-scale manufacturing and later became widely adopted in global trade, especially for Final Random Inspection.

However, as modern supply chains shift toward smaller order quantities, greater product variety, and higher quality expectations, the limitations of standard sampling methods have become increasingly apparent. In many cases, inspection results based solely on AQL sampling may be statistically acceptable, but may not fully protect the buyer’s interests or brand reputation.

Why traditional inspection methods are no longer enough?

Our Hybrid Inspection is originally designed for small quantity orders with high quality requirements, where standard sampling may not provide sufficient confidence, and full inspection may not be the most efficient option.

Industry Background

Hybrid Inspection -
Effective solution for your order

A More Practical Approach: Hybrid Inspection

Based on extensive experience and accumulated data from handling small-batch, high-requirement orders, we have developed our Hybrid Inspection method.

This approach is designed to overcome the limitations of traditional inspection methods by applying a more flexible and situation-based inspection strategy. Today, Hybrid Inspection is increasingly adopted by our clients as a more reliable and practical quality control solution.

What is Hybrid Inspection?

Hybrid Inspection is a flexible inspection method that dynamically applies:

  • Final Random Inspection (FRI)

  • Full Inspection

  • A combination of both when necessary

Based on actual production conditions, order quantity, and quality requirements.

Unlike standard inspection methods, Hybrid Inspection allows inspectors to adjust the inspection scope in real time to achieve more reliable quality control results.

Why Choose Hybrid Inspection

Higher Confidence Than Standard Sampling

  • Go beyond limited AQL sampling when higher assurance is required.

More Efficient Than Full Inspection

  • Avoid unnecessary time and cost while still maintaining strong quality control.

Flexible & Risk-Based

  • Inspection strategy is adjusted based on actual on-site findings.

When to Use Hybrid Inspection?

When is Hybrid Inspection Recommended?

Hybrid Inspection is particularly suitable for orders where strict quality control is required, but full inspection is not the most practical solution.

It is commonly used in the following situations:

  • Small to medium quantity orders with high quality requirements

  • High-value or detail-sensitive textile products

  • Orders where standard AQL sampling may not provide sufficient confidence

  • Buyers who require enhanced quality assurance without the cost of full inspection

This method provides deeper inspection coverage than Final Random Inspection, while remaining more efficient than full inspection.

Comparison: Hybrid Inspection vs Standard Inspection

Final Random Inspection: Fixed sampling based on AQL standards.

Full Inspection: 100% checking with higher cost and time.

Hybrid Inspection: Flexible method combining sampling and extended inspection based on actual conditions.

Your Advantage

A Smarter Approach to Quality Control:

  • Not all orders require the same inspection method.

  • Our Hybrid Inspection ensures that the level of control is properly matched to your specific order, helping you achieve the right balance between quality assurance, cost, and efficiency.
